How can we make it a zoning violation to have homeless cars but not to have homeless people?
(7 parking spaces per car in LA County! I'm coming back as a car in my next life!)

Park[ing] Day LA is a grassroots effort reclaiming public space in our streets. There are many ways of participating big or small, active or passive and we need you help to make this happen.

Host[ing]:

If you’d like to make your own park[ing] spot the first step is to pick your general location, and let us know where. The second step is planning it. If you need help coming up with ideas, finding materials, or even setting up/ and clean up ask us for possible leads and post what help you’re looking for. The final step is making it happen and of course paying your meter.

Sign Up: Go to our map[ing] page where you can sign up and where you can post your location and the time you plan on hosting.

Let us know when and where you’re planning your park. If you let us know before Sept 3rd your park will be part of a printable map. If you’d like to see where other park[ing] spots are popping up around the city see our map.
